It is difficult for a civil engineer to master computer science; one must have a strong foundation in programming. You must have knowledge of undergraduate subjects to pursue a master's degree; otherwise, you will fail the exams. There are no subjects that civil engineering and computer science have in common (except basic programming). Some master's degree programmes are multidisciplinary in nature.
