Dublin City University (DCU) typically requires applicants to have a minimum undergraduate degree classification of Second Class Honours, Grade 2 (2.2) or equivalent.

A CGPA of 5.19 (49.31%) may not meet the minimum requirement for admission to DCU, as it is below the minimum Second Class Honours, Grade 2 (2.2) classification. However, admission requirements may vary depending on the specific program and the competition for places in that program.

The admission requirements for Master's programs at Dublin City University (DCU) can vary depending on the specific program you are interested in. However, there are some general admission requirements that most programs share:

  • Academic Qualifications: DCU typically requires applicants to hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution with a minimum grade of Second Class Honours, Grade 2 (2.2) or equivalent. Some programs may have additional academic requirements, such as specific undergraduate majors or prerequisites.
  • English Language Proficiency: For applicants whose first language is not English, DCU requires proof of English language proficiency through standardized tests such as TOEFL or IELTS. The minimum score required may vary by program.
  • Work Experience: Some programs may require or strongly recommend relevant work experience in a related field.
  • References: Most programs require applicants to submit references from academic or professional sources.
  • Application Materials: In addition to the above requirements, applicants are typically required to submit a completed application form, transcripts from all previous educational institutions attended, a personal statement, and a CV.

In general, a master's degree in business analytics (MSBA) program typically requires a bachelor's degree as a prerequisite. Therefore, 15 years of education would include a bachelor's degree and some additional coursework.

However, the specific requirements for an MSBA program can vary, so it's a good idea to check with the specific program or school to determine their requirements. Some schools may have additional requirements, such as work experience, GMAT or GRE scores, or prerequisites in certain subjects. It's also important to note that the length of an MSBA program can vary, with some programs lasting one year and others lasting two years or more.

There are many universities around the world that offer master's degrees in business analytics (MSBA). Here is a list of some countries and universities that offer MSBA programs:

1. United States:

  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
  • Stanford University
  • University of California, Berkeley

Machine learning is a very big part of data science. It’s not like you can graduate from a data science masters without going through machine learning. And as data science is probably the most popular area of work now, learning machine learning is not a bad idea after all. This way, you can be more relevant and get access to in-demand jobs.

Machine learning is basically eliminating human intervention in certain tasks and operations. In data science when you deal with data sets, it's not ideal to go through each and every piece of information by yourself. Machine learning basically works to develop methods that can work pre-programmed and avoid human intervention. If you are thinking that it is like artificial intelligence (AI), you’re correct.

Now, machine learning is one of the most important things to learn. Jobs and careers in data science are bombings and many professionals a re-earning more than $120,000 (around 90 lakhs) annual salaries in the best places. If this is not enough to intrigue you here are a few reasons why data science machine learning is so much beneficial -

  • In-demand: Data science is currently the most sought-after profession in top countries. Big MNCs and firms are offering good job roles and good paychecks to data science graduates that have a good grasp of machine learning. Because AI is increasing rapidly and it seems most of the tech will revolve around it, it makes even more sense for you to join it.
  • Lucrative: Did you know that the average salary for a machine learning engineer is $111,513 (over 86 lakhs) per year in the United States? This data is up to date recorded in May 2022 from 812 salary reports. If you are a data science enthusiast, I suggest picking machine learning as your specialization in a master's course.
  • Versatile career: With machine learning, it's not like you will be limited to one field only. You can work in data science, AI, engineering, analytics and many more fields. Machine learning is a versatile career option. In later years, you would be more likely to change your profession or move to the next step.
  • Relevant: As data science fields are growing rapidly, machine learning is becoming one of the most relevant professions. We know that finding a good job in the current market is not an easy task. Why not pick a relevant area that will be here for years?

There are more than enough reasons to join data science machine learning. Not just relevance and earning but it is also a creative field where you can show your potential. Technology is always evolving and I suggest you pick the right course for it. If you want help, I can most definitely assist.

Well, I have personally tried the Scalar data science & machine learning program. It’s definitely good, I have to say. With live classes, they have one-on-one mentorship, industry projects and help in finding jobs as well. Plus I have seen students' ratings for their data science programs, they are impressive. All in all, it is as good as it seems, but there are a lot of other things to know.

Data science is already one of the best courses given current times. If you don’t know, LinkedIn named data science the fastest-growing job in 2k17 and it has been almost the same for all these years. Scalar of nor, doing a data science course now is most relevant. Plus data science professionals earn crazy money. Just in the USA, you can expect a six-figure salary in your mid-career.

Scalar is a good source for online studies. In India, it is very popular. I have seen many students that ask about their data science course and how good they are. Be assured for an online course it is very good. Plus these kinds of courses don't cost much. You can do a six-month-long course of like 2-3 lakhs. These courses are efficient and help to land a job in data science.

However good it may be or sounds, I would not recommend it as a general option. See, the best jobs and careers in data science are located in prime locations. There are MNCs and many government bodies that have a high demand for data scientists. Leaving out all the best options just to maintain an easier and cheaper course is not something you should do. Scaler is a good doubt, but you have to target a full-time data science program.

There are hundreds of top-tier universities in the USA, UK, Canada etc. They have many courses in data science that are a big attraction for international students. Just from India, more than a million students go to universities abroad for their higher studies. You can target these ones based on your academics.

These full-time courses allow you to apply for bigger jobs. Plus, after graduation, you can stay back and work in the selected country where data science is popular. Not only will you earn more, but you can also work in more areas and locations. If you need help on how to start, let me know. Happy to help anytime.
