Business analyst
The interview is usually focused on your personal and professional journey. You’ll likely be asked questions like “Why do you want to do an MBA now?”, “Why St. Gallen?”, and “What are your short-term and long-term goals?” They want to know if you’ve thought clearly about your future and how the MBA fits into your plans.
Apart from your goals, they also try to understand who you are as a person. Questions about leadership, teamwork, and challenges are very common. You might be asked things like “Tell us about a time you managed a difficult situation at work” or “How do you handle feedback?”
Sometimes, they may even give you a small business scenario or case to test your thinking and decision-making skills. But overall, the tone of the interview is friendly and open. They just want to know if you’ll be a good fit for the program and if the program is a good fit for you.
