To get into the Harvard MBA, a GMAT score of 730 or above puts you in a strong position. The average GMAT score for the latest incoming class is 740. Most admitted students fall in the 700–770 range.
There’s no official minimum, but based on past admits, a score below 700 is less common unless your profile is outstanding in other areas—like leadership, academics, or unique work experience.
For example, applicants with scores around 710–720 have been admitted with strong international exposure or top-tier company backgrounds. But a score in the 740+ range gives you a real edge, especially if you're aiming for scholarships or competing from an overrepresented background.
