You're trying for general, and tomorrow is your IELTS speaking test, that's great! Here’s what you should do:

Stay calm and confident: The IELTS speaking test is about expressing your thoughts clearly. Take deep breaths and try to stay relaxed. The more relaxed you are, the better you’ll perform.

Practice speaking in English today: Speak in English as much as possible to build confidence. You can talk to a friend, family member, or even yourself about common topics like hobbies, work, or current events.

Know the test format: The IELTS speaking test has three parts:

- Introduction and interview: You'll answer simple questions about yourself.

- Short talk: You'll get a topic, have one minute to prepare, and speak for up to two minutes.

- Discussion: You’ll answer more complex questions related to the short talk.

Review these formats so you’re familiar with what to expect.

Listen carefully and give clear answers: Focus on the examiner’s questions, and don’t rush. Speak clearly and avoid long pauses. It's fine to take a moment to think, but try to keep your sentences smooth and easy to follow.

Don’t memorize answers: The examiners can tell if you're giving rehearsed responses. Instead, focus on being natural and spontaneous.

Expand your answers: When answering, give reasons, examples, or explanations. This shows you can handle the language. For instance, if asked about your hobbies, say why you enjoy them.

Work on your pronunciation: Speak clearly, and don't worry about having an accent. Just make sure your words are understandable. Practice reading out loud or speaking slowly.

Time your responses: In the short talk section, try to use the full time. Practice by picking a topic and speaking about it for two minutes today.

Good luck! Follow these tips, and you'll be well-prepared for the speaking test.
