With a graduation score of 78% and an overall IELTS score of 6, you are on the right track, though some nuances need attention.

Academic Performance: A 78% graduation score is generally considered good and can meet the entry requirements of many international universities. However, the selectivity depends on the specific institution and the program you aim to enroll in. Competitive programs might require higher academic standings or additional qualifications.

IELTS Scores: Your overall IELTS score of 6 is acceptable for most universities, but the 5.5 band in one module could be a concern. Many institutions require a minimum of 6 in each module to prove adequate English proficiency. This requirement ensures that students can effectively communicate and succeed academically.

Suggestions and Alternatives:

Re-take the IELTS: If possible, consider retaking the IELTS to improve the lower module score. Many preparatory courses can help enhance your performance.

Explore Foundation Programs: Some universities offer foundation or pathway programs that can help bridge the gap if your current qualifications do not meet direct entry requirements.

Research Specific Requirements: Check the specific requirements of the universities you are interested in. Some might have flexible language criteria or offer additional support to international students.

Broader Considerations: Keep in mind that visa requirements and other regulatory aspects also play a significant role in your study abroad journey. Ensure you meet these criteria alongside academic and language requirements.

In conclusion, while you are potentially eligible for studying abroad, enhancing your IELTS score or considering alternative pathways can strengthen your application and broaden your opportunities.
