It is possible that you may be able to find a college in Germany that will admit you to an MS program in Electronics or Computer Science with a 6.5 CGPA in your BE (ECE) and an IELTS score of band 6.

To be eligible for a master's degree in electronics or computer science specialization in Germany, you typically need to have a bachelor's degree in a related field and a strong academic record.

Additionally, some programs may require you to have a certain level of proficiency in German, as some courses may be taught in German. Some universities may also require that you take an entrance exam or submit a research proposal. It's best to check the specific requirements for the program you're interested in.

There are many universities in Germany that offer master's programs in computer science or electronics, and the specific requirements for each program can vary. However, here is a list of some universities in Germany that may accept a 6.5 CGPA and 6 in IELTS for a master's degree in computer science or electronics:

  1. Technical University of Munich (TUM)
  2. RWTH Aachen University
  3. Technical University of Berlin (TUB)
  4. University of Potsdam
  5. University of Stuttgart
  6. University of Mannheim
  7. University of Passau
  8. University of Bremen
  9. University of Osnabrück
  10. University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list and requirements may change from year to year. It is always best to check with the university for the most up-to-date information.

I did my Chemical Engineering from Institute of Chemical Engineering & Luky I am got admission in HEC Paris doing Masters in Management.

Frankly speaking, it will be challenging to secure an admission in MS on Electronics or Computer Science specialization. With a CGPA 6.5 in BE(ECE) it may be easy as many universities have the criteria of accepting a GPA up to a band of 6. But with a 5 band in IELTS, it may be challenging. But it’s not impossible. Some universities require you to write other tests that can be a supplementary form of CGPA.  For that, you need to look at the other parts of the requirements deeply:

  1. Rewrite the IELTS test and secure a higher score.
  2. Outstand your SOP’s, LOR’s, and other requirements.
  3. Consider other universities that are lenient.
  4. Gain work experience as required by the university.

Hence, by following the above pointers it could be possible for you to get into your desired program of MS on Electronics or Computer Science specialization.

Yes, with CGPA 6.5 in BE(ECE) it is possible to get an admission in MS in Electronics or Computer Science specialization. As, that offers a GPA up to 6 and with that it can be possible for you to get an admission. Here are universities that accept CGPA 6.5  and those are:

1. California State University, Fullerton
2. California State University, Sacramento
3. San Francisco State University
4. University of Texas at Arlington
5. New Jersey Institute of Technology
Now, talking about IELTS 5 it can be difficult, but not impossible. To improve your score you can opt for rewriting the test and hence improve your IELTS score. Regardless, you can also look into other criteria of the admission carefully:

1. Gain work experience as required.
2. Draft your LOR’s, SOP’s impressively.

With a CGPA of 6.5 in your BE (ECE) and an IELTS score of band 5, you might face some challenges in securing admission to top-tier universities in the USA.

However, don't let that discourage you! There are many universities in the USA with varying admission requirements and preferences.

I would like to  recommend focusing on universities that consider a holistic view of your application. Highlight your work experience, any relevant projects, and extracurricular activities that showcase your skills and potential.

Additionally, consider retaking the IELTS exam to improve your band score, as it can significantly enhance your chances of acceptance.

Remember, persistence and strategic planning for MS in Computer Science in USA for Indian students in achieving your study abroad goals!
