What exams are required to pursue a MiM abroad? Is RMIT a good choice for MiM?

To do a Masters in Management i.e MiM, you need to give GMAT as the main requirement. GMAT is used by b-schools abroad to test your academic abilities. A GMAT Score of 720+ could take you in the top most b-schools across the globe and a GMAT score of 680-700 is the average score which will give you plenty of decent options. I would not suggest aiming any less than 700 to be on the safer side and target the best schools.

Another important exam that you need to give is IELTS. It is an English language proficiency test and is used by schools abroad to test your ability to read, write and understand English. An IELTS band score of 8+ could take you the best possible schools and a 7+ band could give you decent options. I would again suggest aiming to score high for eg. 7.5 band atleast, so that you have decent options to target.

Coming towards RMIT, The university holds 11th rank in the whole world in the field of art and design subjects. The main campus of RMIT University is in the centre of Melbourne city and has got huge heritage value as the campus is located in the oldest section of the city. he strength of the alumni community of RMIT University is more than 437,000 graduates who are currently working across 130 countries. Some of the well-known alumni of the university are Jim Stynes, famous charity worker; James Wan, movie director and writer; Lydia Lassila, Australian winter Olympic gold medalist; Charles Billich, famous Australian artist and Australian animator Felix Colgrave. In short, the university is definitely a good option to target.

However, the business school from which students are pursuing their MBA has a sturdy impact on building their profile.

Every year greater than two lakhs applicants register for The Common Admission Test (CAT), to impervious admission to MBA. Apart from India, the USA is one of the most desired destinations by way of Indian students. The different popular destinations the place many Indian college students are located applying for MBA are Australia, Canada, the UK, and Singapore. The MBA packages in the US in most cases come with a two years duration, whilst in the UK and Singapore, the duration is one yr or so.

In the tussle between MBA in India vs abroad, there is no winner as it relies upon on the aspirations of the students and if they are inclined to make investments extra money in their schooling to get hold of greater returns.
