They prefer applicants with 1–2 years of work experience, especially if you’ve led projects or shown early growth. You’ll need to fill out the scholarship section in the application and upload valid income proof. Final scholarship decisions are made after your interview and before the program starts.

Detail-Oriented Financial Analyst
To be eligible for BITSoM’s need-based MBA scholarship (called the Merit-cum-Need Scholarship), your family income must be under ₹18 lakh per year. You must also complete the scholarship section in the application and submit valid income proof.
Along with this, BITSoM looks for a strong academic and professional profile. Applicants with a CAT score above 90 percentile, GMAT above 650, or a CGPA of 7.5+ stand a better chance. Having at least 1–2 years of quality work experience showing growth or leadership also adds weight to your application.
