I would say, the best universities for a post-graduation in Aerospace Engineering are based in the USA. Most of the names would be familiar to you, I believe, because these institutes are quite famous for engineering and technology -

  • California Institute of Technology (Caltech)
  • University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
  • University of California, Los Angeles
  • Stanford University
  • University of Washington
  • Imperial College London
  • University of Toronto

Caltech is generally labeled as the brain in UK universities. Because their courses are mostly advanced and researched well. Plus the academic faculty and scientists there are constantly involved in leading projects of engineering and technology. Though the average tuition of the university is also high, around 40 lakhs.

The University of Michigan - Ann Arbor sits along with Caltech in terms of academics and fee. Many students take it by surprise but the average tuition at Stanford is lower than the two mentioned above. This is because the university has many graduate schools offering courses in different disciplines of many subjects. The University of Washington however is pretty affordable and comes under top #20 universities for aerospace engineering.

While these are just general top-most options, you should get a university list that aligns with your profile. I suggest you take the FREE school explore quiz. It will generate a personalized list of school options based on your profile and preferences and make your school selection process a lot easier.
