For finance-focused MBAs in the UK, a few schools stand out depending on which area of finance someone wants.

• London Business School leads, with strong IB and PE placements. IB salaries usually start at £90K base plus bonuses.
 • Oxford Saïd places grads into investment management, boutique banking, and some IB roles.
 • Cambridge Judge does well in fintech, corporate finance, and asset management roles. Asset management salaries often start around £60K–£75K base, depending on the firm.
 • Warwick Business School and Manchester Alliance place some MBAs into finance, but more into corporate finance and retail banking than high-end IB or PE.
 • Location matters — being close to London gives better access to networking events, internships, and direct bank recruiting.
 • Most top IB offers in the UK still come from LBS and Oxford due to their stronger banking pipelines.
