Construction Management deals with the onsite aspects of a construction project. This is where hands-on experience is more important, as construction managers work directly with materials, techniques, and engineers to take designs and transform them into real constructions.

The best you try to go and study construction management are the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Germany.

According to QS Rankings, these are some of the best universities and colleges where you can study a degree in either Construction Management:

  1. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), in the US
  2. University of Cambridge, in the UK
  3. Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, Canada
  4. George Brown College, Canada
  5. University of Sydney, Australia
  6. Dresden University of Technology, Germany

Normally, it will take 3 years to earn a Construction Management Bachelor’s degree in Europe and 4 years in North America. If you’re going for a Master’s programme, it will normally take between 1-2 years to graduate.

For Master in Construction Management, tuition fees vary between 2,000 EUR – 51,000 EUR/per academic year

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, there will be an 11% increase in Construction Management jobs by 2026. This is not surprising at all, considering the ongoing expansion of the human population and the need for more houses and workspaces. As cities expand and new ones are built, the world will need more skilled construction managers, civil engineers, and architects.
