For consulting-focused MBAs, a few countries clearly stand out depending on where someone wants to work after.

• In the US, Wharton, Kellogg, Booth, and Duke Fuqua send large numbers into McKinsey, Bain, and BCG every year.
 • UK’s London Business School leads in Europe, but Oxford and Cambridge have strong MBB connections too.
 • France has INSEAD, which places nearly half its class into consulting globally.
 • Singapore’s INSEAD campus and NUS MBA also have strong consulting pipelines for Asia-focused roles.
 • Switzerland’s IMD is smaller but has solid consulting placements, especially in Europe.
 • Salaries range from $175K+ base in the US to €110K in Europe and S$130K in Singapore depending on firm and location.
 • Visa policies also play a role — the US offers up to 3 years on OPT for STEM MBAs, while the UK gives 2 years post-study work visa under the Graduate Route.
