Many top Indian business schools accept GMAT scores, especially for their full-time MBA or executive MBA programs. For regular MBA applicants, ISB Hyderabad and Mohali are among the most popular options that accept GMAT.
Several IIMs, including IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, and Indore, accept GMAT scores for their one-year MBA programs like PGPX or EPGP, which are designed for professionals with more work experience. These programs do not usually consider GMAT scores for their two-year post-graduate programs for Indian applicants.
Other reputed institutes such as SPJIMR Mumbai, Great Lakes Institute of Management (Chennai and Gurgaon), IMT Ghaziabad, and TAPMI also consider GMAT scores for certain programs. A good GMAT score, along with relevant work experience and clarity in career goals, can significantly improve your chances of getting admitted into these colleges.
Before applying, it's important to check each college’s official website for program-specific requirements and deadlines, as some accept GMAT scores only from international applicants or NRIs for select programs.
