If you are thinking about applying to the Stanford MBA program then you carefully consider their application deadlines. As you may know, the first two rounds are already closed so you have no option left but to apply in the third round.

For the 2024–2025 admissions cycle, the deadlines are as follows:

  • Round 1: Application due by September 10, 2024; notification by December 5, 2024.
  • Round 2: Application due by January 8, 2025; notification by April 3, 2025.
  • Round 3: Application due by April 8, 2025; notification by May 29, 2025.

It's important to submit your application by 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time on the deadline date for your chosen round. Applying in earlier rounds can offer advantages, such as more time to prepare for enrollment and access to a wider range of financial aid opportunities. Make sure you plan accordingly to present your strongest application.

Stanford MBA application deadlines for the 2024-2025 admissions cycle are spread across three rounds:

  • Round 1: September 10, 2024, with decisions released by December 5, 2024.
  • Round 2: January 8, 2025, with decisions released by April 3, 2025.
  • Round 3: April 8, 2025, with decisions released by May 29, 2025.

It's crucial to submit all application materials, including letters of recommendation and the application fee, by 4:00 PM Pacific Time on the deadline date for the round in which you apply. Stanford does not review additional materials submitted after the deadline for that round.

Applying in Round 1 or Round 2 can offer advantages such as more time to complete visa applications for international students and a better chance to secure on-campus housing. If you and a partner are both applying, it’s recommended to apply in the same round to synchronize decision timelines.

Round 1 is usually the best option for applicants looking for a higher chance at scholarships and early consideration. But if you need a few extra months to strengthen your profile—like improving your GMAT or gaining more clarity on your essays—Round 2 is a solid option.
