In the interview, they'll likely start with questions about your background and experiences. Expect to discuss your career goals, why you want an MBA, and specifically, why at IE. They might also ask about your strengths and weaknesses, and how you handle challenges. It's their way of understanding your motivations and fit for the program.

Additionally, be ready for situational questions where you'll need to describe past experiences, like leading a team or overcoming a difficult situation. They want to see your problem-solving and leadership skills in action. So, think of some examples beforehand that showcase these qualities.

So, the interview at IE is very personal. They usually ask questions like “Why do you want to do an MBA at IE?”, “What are your short-term and long-term goals?”, and “What makes you different from other applicants?” These help the school understand your motivation and career plans.

They may also ask about your past experiences. For example, you might get questions like “Tell me about a time you led a team” or “How do you handle failure or conflict?” These give them an idea of how you think and solve problems.

Lastly, they’re looking for people who fit well with their values—like being international, innovative, and open-minded. So be ready to talk about how you’ll contribute to the IE community. Just be yourself, be honest, and keep your answers clear and real.
