Trying to memorize shortcuts won’t get far unless the basics are solid — GMAT Quant is more about logic than formulas.
• Start with mastering Problem Solving (PS) and Data Sufficiency (DS) separately. For DS, focus on eliminating what’s not required to fully solve.
• Keep a “what went wrong” notebook , track careless errors, misreads, or time issues, not just wrong answers.
• Learn to estimate smartly, rounding numbers or comparing answer choices helps avoid long calculations.
• Use GMAT Club’s Quant question bank or Target Test Prep for consistent practice and adaptive drills.
• Build the habit of eliminating 2–3 options before solving, it narrows down your focus.
Finally, always do full Quant sections in 45-minute blocks during prep. Practicing under real test pressure makes a major difference.
