EPGP at IIM Bangalore doesn’t come cheap, but there are a few scholarships that can ease the load, especially if your profile stands out early.
The EPGP Admission Scholarship is offered to top-ranked applicants during admission. It usually goes to those with a GMAT score above 700, 8–12 years of impactful work experience, and a strong interview performance. Award amounts typically range from ₹2–5 lakhs.
The Siddhartha Padam Award, given midway through the program, rewards all-round academic and leadership excellence and includes a financial component.
IIMB doesn’t have formal need-based scholarships for EPGP, but some external merit-based awards, like the Citi Woman Leader Award, have been available in the past. Candidates from diverse or non-traditional backgrounds, like public sector, social enterprise, or manufacturing—often have a stronger shot at these scholarships.
IIM Bangalore offers a few scholarships for EPGP students, but they are limited and mostly merit-based. The key one is the EPGP Merit Scholarship, typically awarded to the top 5–7% of the class. Selection is based on a GMAT score of 710+, strong undergrad academics (usually above 75%), and high performance in the initial academic terms.
Other options include the IIMB Alumni Scholarship and the Runwal Education Trust Scholarship, which may factor in overall profile and financial need. These scholarships usually range between ₹3–6 lakhs and are applied toward tuition.
In 2024, less than 15% of students received institutional scholarships. Those with strong leadership experience, social impact work, or backgrounds in underrepresented sectors tend to stand out. While aid is competitive, it can significantly offset tuition for top-performing applicants.
