The MIT MFin video interview can be tricky because it’s automated — no live panel, just a question and a countdown.

• Expect a mix of “Why MFin?”, “Why MIT?” and scenario-based ones like mediating a disagreement in a group project or delivering under a tight deadline.
 • Short technical questions might ask you to explain concepts like duration, option pricing basics, or a current market event.
 • One or two prompts may test quick calculation skills — simple probability or time-value-of-money style problems.
 • Practice answering in 1–2 minutes, keeping structure tight: context, what you did, and outcome.
 • Prepare 5–6 strong stories that show leadership, problem-solving, adaptability, and analytical thinking.

Combining mock recordings with real market knowledge makes it easier to stay calm under the timer and deliver answers that show both competence and genuine motivation for MIT.
