What kind of jobs do you get after doing an MBA in luxury brand management from Europe?
Also, what’s the average starting salary like for international students? And who are the big recruiters in this space? Just trying to get a realistic idea of career outcomes, especially for someone coming from India.

Luxury MBAs in Europe don’t lead to big paychecks instantly, but they’re a way into a tight industry. Most people end up in junior to mid-level roles — think marketing executive, retail experience associate, or brand coordinator. These roles often focus on digital strategy, merchandising, or brand storytelling.
Starting salaries are usually between €45K–€60K, depending on location and the brand. In Paris or Milan, it’s enough to live decently, but you’ll need to budget well. Big recruiters include LVMH (Dior, Louis Vuitton), Kering (Gucci, YSL), Richemont (Cartier), and beauty companies like L’Oréal and Estée Lauder.
A lot of international grads get placed in regional teams or in digital-focused roles. HQ roles are more competitive and usually prefer candidates who speak some French or Italian. Internships during the MBA are key — most full-time jobs come through those, not campus placements. It’s slow growth, but if luxury is the goal, this is how most people get in.
