What kind of jobs do you get after doing an MBA in luxury brand management from Europe?
Also, what’s the average starting salary like for international students? And who are the big recruiters in this space? Just trying to get a realistic idea of career outcomes, especially for someone coming from India.

Most people coming out of a luxury MBA in Europe go into roles like Assistant Brand Manager, Marketing Associate, or Merchandising Coordinator. It’s rarely a senior role right away, but it gets your foot in the door. Schools like ESSEC or SDA Bocconi have strong industry projects — many grads land internships at LVMH or Kering brands, which often turn into full-time offers.
Starting salary for international students usually falls between €45K–€60K. It's not high compared to consulting, but fairly standard in the luxury world. One ESSEC alum I came across joined Guerlain in Paris as a Junior Product Manager right after graduation — roles like that are pretty common for Indian grads.
Most big names recruit: LVMH, Chanel, Richemont, L’Oréal, and Estée Lauder. But they don’t come through traditional placement routes — it’s more about projects, networking, and being in the right city. French or Italian helps a lot for HQ-based jobs.
