The scope is totally different if thinking of studying finance in Indian business schools than if studying it in the UK or US. In India, lots of the schools focus on domestic markets, so fabulous if wanting to build up expertise in the Indian financial landscape; and get a really deep understanding of the regulatory environment, taxation, and market trends specific to the region. Therefore, if you would like to do business in another country or work in a global market, the knowledge gained will be a bit overly bound.
Business programs offered by British or American business schools tend to be much more international in scope. You tend to get a lot of experience in international finance, which may be very good if you want to work for a multinational corporation or at a bank. The curriculum tends to include more internship experience through major firms, which really gets the classroom concepts across.
There is another cost factor, though. Studying in the UK or US typically costs more &mdash; even the tuition alone can go anywhere from 40-60 lakhs, not to mention living costs. In India, it is much less at around 15-25 lakhs, so much cheaper. Really depends on where one feels they would be working after they graduate&hellip; If staying local, then Indian schools offer solid grounding. Maybe you have great aspirations that stretch beyond those borders and boundaries.  For them, studying abroad can be the greatest edge.
