ESSEC doesn’t have a fixed GMAT score that you must hit, but based on past intakes, the average tends to be around 615–620. In some years, especially for applicants from more competitive backgrounds like India, the average can go higher—closer to 670 or more.
That said, ESSEC looks at more than just your test scores. If your work history, goals, and essays are strong, you can still get in with a score that’s a bit lower. They also accept other tests if you’re not planning to take the GMAT. So your chances really depend on your full profile, not just one number.
