The average GMAT score for the ESSEC Global MBA is usually around 615, but this isn’t a strict requirement. The school reviews your full application, so things like your work experience, academic background, and motivation for doing the MBA also carry a lot of weight. Even if your GMAT is below that average, you can still be considered if the rest of your profile is strong.
Also, ESSEC gives you the option to apply with other test scores like GRE, Executive Assessment, or even the TAGE-MAGE. (For reference, a GRE score in the 310–320 range is generally seen as competitive.) You can also apply without a test and submit your score later if needed. So, while GMAT helps, it’s not a dealbreaker.
