The average GMAT score for the Chicago Booth MBA is around 728. It’s a strong number, but don't worry if your score is a little lower so they care about your full profile — your work, your goals, and your story — not just your test score.

If you are looking at the Executive MBA, the average GMAT is about 668, and for the Part-Time MBA, it’s around 680. In all programs, they look at your experience and what you can bring to their community.

So even if your GMAT isn’t perfect, you’re still very much in the game if the rest of your profile is strong. Booth values real-world skills and leadership just as much as good test scores.

If you are thinking about applying to Chicago Booth, the average GMAT score you will see is around 728. It sounds a little high, but that's what top schools expect these days. Still, you should know that Booth looks at your profile more than just your GMAT. They are very interested in your work story, your leadership, and your goals.

For the Part-Time MBA, the average score is a little lower, around 680, and for the Executive MBA, it is about 668. So if you are applying for these, your score can be a bit lower and you will still have a good chance if the rest of your application is strong.

What matters most is what you bring beyond the numbers. They want to see who you are, what kind of work you have done, and how you can add value to their community so if your GMAT is not perfect, but your story is strong, you will still be in the race.

At the end of the day, Chicago Booth, like many good schools, is looking for real people, not just top test-takers. So focus on building your whole profile, not just the score

The average GMAT score for Chicago Booth's MBA program is around 728. This means that many students score in the high 700s. However, the school accepts a range of scores. For instance, the middle 80% of admitted students have GMAT scores between 590 and 780.

It's important to remember that while a strong GMAT score can enhance your application, Chicago Booth looks at more than just test results. They also consider your academic history, work experience, personal essays, and letters of recommendation. This means that even if your GMAT score is below the average, other strengths in your application can still make you a competitive candidate.

Additionally, Chicago Booth accepts GRE scores as an alternative to the GMAT. For the Class of 2025, the average GRE scores were 162 for Verbal and 163 for Quantitative sections.

If aiming for a GMAT score around the average can be beneficial, it's not the only factor in admissions. A well-rounded application that showcases your unique experiences and strengths is equally important.
