Columbia MBA offers a mix of merit-based and need-based scholarships, with nearly 45% of students receiving some form of aid. Most awards are automatically considered during the admissions review—no separate application is needed.
One of the main options is the Columbia Fellowship, which can cover between 10% and 100% of tuition, depending on financial need and profile strength. The Board of Overseers Fellowship is awarded to applicants with strong leadership and academic credentials, and usually covers 25% to 50% of tuition.
Women applicants are eligible for the Forté Fellowship, which provides partial tuition coverage and access to the Forté network. LGBTQ+ applicants are considered for the ROMBA Fellowship, which typically awards $10,000 or more.
International students are eligible for all school-funded scholarships, and Columbia also supports external scholarship applications through dedicated financial aid advising.
