To get into Harvard University for computer science, students must have finished class 12th in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core courses from a recognized board and with the minimum marks stipulated by their selected university to be eligible for a BTech Computer Science. Furthermore, many colleges and universities in India need candidates to submit entrance exam results such as JEE Mains, SRMJEE, MU-OET, and so on. Furthermore, if you want to pursue this BTech CSE degree abroad, you must pass aptitude exams such as the SAT, ACT, and so on. Along with this, you will need to submit IELTS/TOEFL/PTE scores, as well as a Statement of Purpose (SOP) and optional Letters of Recommendation (LORs).

Gaining a spot in Harvard's Computer Science program is highly competitive. You'll need excellent grades, particularly in STEM subjects, and top scores on standardized tests like the SAT or ACT.

Harvard looks for students who are leaders and innovators. Involvement in tech-related activities such as coding clubs or research projects is beneficial. These experiences highlight your technical skills and creative application of knowledge.

Your essays are a vital part of your application; they should convey your passion for computer science and outline your professional goals, showing how Harvard will help you achieve them.

Recommendations are also important and should come from those who can vouch for both your academic and personal qualities, reinforcing your suitability for Harvard’s rigorous programs.

Your application should clearly showcase your intellectual energy, passion for computer science, and your long-term goals, demonstrating how they align with what Harvard offers.
