The UC Berkeley MFE has four deadlines for the 2025 intake. The dates are January 16th 2025, April 1st 2025, June 5th 2025, and October 1st 2025, all at 9:00 a.m. ET. Most applicants try for the early rounds because the review process is smoother and Berkeley has more room to interview at that point.
April is still a good option if you need time to finish your GMAT or references. June works too, but the programme starts filling up by then, so decisions can move faster. October is the final chance and is best for applicants who already have everything ready.
If you want a calmer experience and more scholarship chances, Round 1 or Round 2 is usually ideal.
