Detail-Oriented Financial Analyst
Everyone looks at rankings, but what really matters is where the degree can take you after graduation — and not all top MFin programs lead to the same kind of jobs.
- LBS and HEC Paris are still the best picks if the goal is investment banking or private equity. Their alumni are all over JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Rothschild, and Bain.
- Bocconi stands out if planning to stay in Southern Europe. Its grads land roles at UniCredit, Deutsche Bank, BCG, and EY in Milan and Frankfurt.
- ESSEC and ESCP are reliable if language isn't a barrier — they have strong connections with BNP Paribas, Société Générale, Amundi, and AXA.
- Frankfurt School and Mannheim are solid options for those targeting Germany. Graduates find roles at Allianz, PwC, KPMG, and fintech firms like N26.
- IE in Spain isn’t talked about as much, but it’s getting more attention from recruiters in real estate, startup finance, and family offices. Students often get placed at Santander, CBRE, and smaller VC-backed companies.
Where you want to work matters more than the name on the degree. Choose the program that fits that goal.
