They ask questions that help them understand your career story, your goals, and why you think LBS is the right place for you.

Some of the common questions include: “Why do you want to do an MBA now?”, “Why LBS?”, “What are your short- and long-term goals?”, and “Can you tell us about a time you worked in a team or led a project?” These questions are meant to check if your goals are clear and if you’ll be a good fit for the LBS community.

There may also be a short presentation during the interview. You’ll be given a topic and a few minutes to prepare. This is just to see how well you can think and speak under pressure. The overall tone is friendly, but you should be well-prepared with honest, simple answers.
