The EDHEC MiM interview isn&rsquo;t just a casual chat ,  it&rsquo;s where they really test how well you know your goals and whether you&rsquo;ve thought through why you&rsquo;re applying.
They usually begin with &ldquo;Why EDHEC?&rdquo; and &ldquo;Why MiM and not an MSc?&rdquo; &mdash; and these aren&rsquo;t trick questions, but vague or generic responses usually get follow-ups. If your answer sounds memorized or unclear, they&rsquo;ll ask, &ldquo;Can you give a specific example?&rdquo; That&rsquo;s where many applicants slip up.
Behavioral questions are common too. You&rsquo;ll likely get something like &ldquo;Tell us about a time you handled conflict in a team&rdquo; or &ldquo;Describe a time you showed leadership under pressure.&rdquo; Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure these , without a real story, it feels empty.
What they&rsquo;re really checking is clarity: Do you know what you want, how EDHEC fits into that, and whether you&rsquo;ve learned from your past roles? Go beyond listing achievements &mdash; explain how those experiences shaped your career direction. That&rsquo;s what makes an answer stick.

If you're preparing for the EDHEC MiM interview, it&rsquo;s not just about why you want to study ,  they&rsquo;re checking how well you know yourself.

Be ready for questions like &ldquo;Walk us through your resume&rdquo; or &ldquo;Why did you choose this field?&rdquo; They often dive deeper into your past work.
They also ask things like &ldquo;How would you contribute to the EDHEC classroom?&rdquo; or &ldquo;What&rsquo;s a recent challenge you faced and how did you handle it?&rdquo;
