If you're short on time, the best way to crack CAT 2025 is by focusing on high-weightage and high-accuracy topics first. In Quant, focus on Arithmetic, percentages, profit-loss, TSD (time, speed, distance), ratios, and mixtures. These form about 8&ndash;10 questions and are easy to revise quickly. Algebra basics like equations and inequalities are worth covering too,  they show up every year.
In VARC, stick to Reading Comprehension. Around 70% of the section comes from RC, so getting decent at this gives you the best return. Practice 2 RCs daily ,  use past CAT papers or the 500-level RCs from TIME or IMS material. Skip para jumbles unless you&rsquo;ve already practiced them.
For DILR, focus on puzzles from past CAT sets (2018&ndash;2024) , especially ones based on arrangements, games and tournaments, and selection-based logic. Do 3&ndash;4 full sets a week from these past-year papers. Spend more time reviewing the solution than solving it,  CAT DILR rewards pattern spotting, not just speed.

Practice one RC from past CAT papers daily and track accuracy. Don&rsquo;t spend time on para jumbles unless you&rsquo;ve already done them earlier. &bull; For DILR, solve sets from CAT 2018 to 2023. Focus on arrangement-based, games and tournaments, and selection puzzles. Stick to one set a day, and spend time understanding the logic and solving method after &mdash; that review is where real improvement happens. &bull; Instead of adding new topics now, revise the ones that you already know.
