What are the London Business School MBA fees for Indian students?

Question

Hema A · Accepted Answer

The London Business School MBA tuition fee is approximately ₹1.55 crore (£123,950) for the 2026 intake. Indian students pay the same tuition as other international participants. The MBA can be completed in 15, 18 or 21 months, but the tuition is not reduced if a student chooses an earlier available exit point. LBS also charges a £200 application fee and a £400 Student Association fee. Applicants should confirm whether any elective travel, global experiences or optional activities require separate payments.
Tuition does not cover accommodation, meals, transportation, visa expenses, healthcare-related charges, flights or personal spending. London has a high cost of living, and accommodation is likely to be the largest additional expense. Depending on housing and programme duration, an Indian student may need another ₹30–₹50 lakh for living costs. The total MBA budget can therefore approach approximately ₹1.9–₹2.1 crore before scholarships. Students with dependants or those choosing private accommodation may require an even larger amount.
LBS offers school-based scholarships and accepts several external funding options, but awards are competitive. Indian students financing the programme through an education loan should calculate interest, monthly repayment and the period required to clear the debt. They should also consider post-MBA employment location because salaries, taxation and visa conditions differ across the UK, Europe, Middle East and India. The strongest financial assessment should compare the complete net cost with expected salary, employment probability and the student’s ability to manage loan repayments.
