UBC Sauder School of Business offers many extra activities to help students learn and grow. One important feature is the Business Career Centre (BCC). The BCC helps students with career coaching, job search tips, and connecting with professionals. They organize career fairs, company recruiting events, and workshops to get students ready for their future careers.

The Sauder International Student Association is a great place for international students to meet and join cultural events. It’s part of the Commerce Undergraduate Society (CUS), the largest student-run business organization in Canada. The CUS hosts many events like social gatherings, professional workshops, and networking opportunities throughout the year.

For practical experience, the UBC Sauder Co-op Program offers students the chance to do three 4-month work terms in their chosen field. This program helps students apply what they learn in class to real jobs and build a professional network.

The Imagine UBC event is perfect for new students. It includes a fair where you can explore different clubs, student groups, and UBC services.

At UBC Sauder School of Business, students have plenty of opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities that go beyond the classroom. These activities are designed to help students develop new skills, meet new people, and make the most of their time at university.

One of the key features of student life at UBC Sauder is the wide range of student clubs. There are over 30 different clubs, covering interests like finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility. Joining a club is a great way to connect with others who share your interests, build your network, and apply what you learn in your courses to real-world situations.

In addition to clubs, UBC Sauder offers special programs like the Sauder Social Entrepreneurship (SSE) program. This program lets students work on projects that have a positive impact on society, combining business knowledge with community service. It’s a valuable way to gain hands-on experience while doing something meaningful.

UBC Sauder also hosts various events and competitions throughout the year. For example, the Sauder Summit Global Case Competition brings together students from top business schools around the world to solve real business challenges. Participating in these events helps you develop teamwork and problem-solving skills, and gives you the chance to network with peers and professionals.

Volunteering is another option at UBC Sauder. The school partners with different organizations to offer volunteer opportunities that match your interests and career goals. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and build your resume at the same time.

Overall, UBC Sauder provides a range of activities that help you grow both personally and professionally, making your university experience more enriching and rewarding.
