The essay prompts asked by Tuck MBA focus a lot on self-awareness, values, and your fit with the Tuck community. There are three required essays, each with a 300-word limit. The first one is about why you’re pursuing an MBA now and why Tuck. The second asks who you are, and how your values and experiences have shaped you. The third one is about a time you made someone feel included in your personal or professional life.
There’s also an optional essay where you can explain anything extra—like gaps in your resume or a low grade. And if you're reapplying, there’s a separate short essay to talk about what’s changed since your last application.
Tuck really wants honest, thoughtful answers. So take your time with these and write in your own voice—it goes a long way.
