You would need to have a high level of scores in the CAT exam along with a stellar profile for one to stand any chance of being admitted into the IIM. Other business schools might be less strict on their criteria or have flexibility in admissions, making it the better option to enroll in such programs if it suits your profile or background. This may prove significant if you are out for a program that matches your background and skill set.
