Columbia University doesn’t have a program called “Master in Management” exactly, but they do offer one-year business master’s degrees like MS in Marketing Science, Financial Economics, and a few others. These programs follow one fixed deadline.

For the Fall 2025 intake, the application deadline is January 15, 2025. The application portal opens around mid-September. There’s only one round, so you need to submit everything—GMAT/GRE scores, essays, resume, and recommendation—before that date.

If you're serious about applying, don’t wait till the last week. These programs are selective, and applying early gives you time to avoid last-minute mistakes.

So, Columbia doesn’t have a program officially named “Master in Management,” but they do offer similar one-year master’s programs under Columbia Business School—like the MS in Marketing Science, Financial Economics, or Accounting and Fundamental Analysis. For these programs, the application deadline for Fall 2025 intake is January 16, 2025, and the application typically opens in September of the previous year. They usually review applications in one round only, and final decisions are shared around March.

If you’re applying, make sure to get everything ready before January—especially your test scores, essays, and recommendations—because they don’t have multiple rounds like MBA programs. And since these are competitive programs, applying early gives you the best shot.
