Well, for the top MBA programs, the GMAT scores are pretty intense. In the U.S., schools like Stanford, Wharton, and Harvard are sitting at 730+, with Stanford leading at 738. Kellogg, Booth, and MIT Sloan are also in that 720-730 range. Basically, for M7 schools, anything below 720 is kinda risky unless your profile is super strong in other areas.
For Europe, the averages are slightly lower. INSEAD and LBS are around 700-710, while Oxford, Cambridge, and HEC Paris hover around 690. So yeah, you can get into a top European MBA with a slightly lower GMAT than the U.S. schools, but obviously, other parts of your application have to be solid.
if you're aiming for the U.S., 720+ is a safe bet for top schools, and for Europe, around 700 is good enough.
