The University of Chicago Booth School of Business offers a Master in Management (MiM) program with four application rounds for the class of 2026. The deadlines are:

  • Round 1: Application Deadline: October 10, 2024; Decision Release: Week of December 9, 2024.
  • Round 2: Application Deadline: January 9, 2025; Decision Release: Week of March 3, 2025.
  • Round 3: Application Deadline: March 6, 2025; Decision Release: Week of April 21, 2025.
  • Round 4: Application Deadline: May 1, 2025; Decision Release: Week of June 2, 2025.

Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Central Time on the deadline date to be considered for that round. The MiM program is tailored for recent college graduates who did not major in business and are keen to explore the business field.

To apply, you'll need to prepare the following materials:

  • Online Application: Complete the application form available on the Booth website.
  • GMAT/GRE Scores: Submit valid GMAT or GRE scores unless you qualify for a waiver.
  • Essays: Respond to two essay prompts:

1. How will the Booth Master in Management help you achieve your immediate and long-term career goals? (Maximum 300 words.)
2. Graduate management education is as much about personal growth as it is about professional development. We’d like to learn more about you outside of the classroom/work environment. Use this opportunity to tell us something about who you are. (Maximum 400 words.)

  • Letters of Recommendation: Provide two letters from individuals who can attest to your academic performance and other contributions during your undergraduate studies.
  • Transcripts: Submit unofficial transcripts from all postsecondary institutions you've attended. Official transcripts will be required upon admission.
  • English Proficiency Test Scores: If English is not your native language, provide TOEFL or IELTS scores unless exempt.

Given that today is January 9, 2025, the Round 2 application deadline is today. If you're unable to submit your application by the end of the day, consider aiming for Round 3 or Round 4 deadlines.

It's advisable to apply as early as possible to enhance your chances of admission and scholarship consideration.

If you have further questions or need assistance with your application, feel free to reach out to the Chicago Booth admissions team.

Best of luck with your application!
