Hey Sahana, how are you doing?

So great choice on the country as Canada is basically the best place to pursue data analytics. Canada is on the top spot for studying abroad for Indian students because of its highly accomodating nature.

Biggest Canadian universities offer data analytics programs. I have created a list of a few best universities for data analytics programs -

  1. University of Waterloo
  2. University of British Columbia (UBC)
  3. University of Toronto
  4. Saint Mary’s University
  5. Simon Fraser University

University of Waterloo must be the very first choice. The institute promotes education for a global economy. So your program will offer a wider scope. And there is no debate on university excellence as it ranks in top universities across the world. Then, UBC is probably the most productive one. The best feature of the university is its curriculum design that fits the demand of the upcoming three years. So you will be more secure.

The other three options are exceptional as well. However, the University of Toronto is a more comprehensive one. Your degree will be more valued in all places. Saint Mary's University is more research-focused and Simon Fraser University is better for employment purposes. Also, know that popular universities like the University of Toronto and UBC are better if you seek a career outside of Canada.  So if a rational decision is to be made, consider your needs and interests for your career.

If you have any particular course or maybe a concentration, let me know. Data science is a very directional subject, you are really supposed to put all precision and focus in there. And this is exactly why it is important for you to reach a solid decision.
