I want to begin by mentioning that the UK universities are quite a catch for MA degrees in journalism. Don’t forget that the UK is a hub of journalism and sports. Unlike other country options, the UK's more involved in this field. If I mention 10 best universities for you in the UK, almost all of them will come under the top #1000 universities worldwide.

You may have already come across many names among my recommendations. At first, I thought to name the particular department name, but it would be easier to find them by university names. So here you go -

1. Sheffield Hallam University
2. Swansea University
3. Liverpool John Moores University
4. University of Brighton
5. University of Lincoln

I would recommend these five universities by the order of numbering them.

UK universities have their impact made on European industry. After graduation from these universities, you will be able to apply for jobs in all of Europe and other continents as well.

UK degrees are well recognized. Along with this, Europe hosts so many sports like soccer, cricket, golf, fighting and many more. After an MA in Sports Journalism from any of these universities in the UK, you can be assured about the scope and careers in the UK or neighbouring countries.
The one thing you should remember is that it's not necessary that your profile matches the eligibility requirements of these schools. So I suggest you get a make list of school options whose eligibility you fulfil, and then target your favourites amongst those. You can get a personalised school list for FREE based on your profile and preferences to make this process a lot easier.

Let me know if you need any further assistance for applying to any of these schools.
