i was kind of in the same boat&hellip; did my bcom from a tier-2 college and had just 1 year at ey audit. wasnt sure if schools would even take it seriously. i went with mimessay for my mfin apps. they didnt sugarcoat it, said the kpmg/ey brand helps but the short work ex and average college meant i had to really push my story. we worked on showing why i wanted to move from audit to finance and added safer schools too. finally got into smu mfin, so it&rsquo;s definitely possible with the right effort .

your kpmg experience is a really strong point but for mfin  how you connect it to finance matters more than the college name. a consultant can guide you on that part just make sure you keep a mix of target schools and safe schools
