So foreign colleges do not accept the grades of state boards?

I don’t know where you have your heart i from, but it is a big misconception. In my experience, I know for sure that universities abroad do not discriminate between state board or central board scores as long as you got a good percentile. Theory has their GPA requirement set and all they need from you is to meet them.

It's not like if I apply to a USA university with my state board grades, they will reply ‘ we don't accept state board students here, try somewhere else.’ It's ridiculous. Do you have any idea how many Indian students apply to universities abroad every year? The number usually remains in the millions. A  lot of those students come directly from a state board school.

Besides, it only matters in the case of a bachelor degree. Because if you are applying for a masters, your bachelors is what concerns the most. University does not particularly look for both of your bachelor and high school grades. They only need one GPA score that is the most recent. As long as you get the GPA they desire, it won’t matter to them if you are a state board student or a central board.

Instead of these things, universities abroad look for GMAT/GRE scores and a language test proof. You can put all your focus on these two things that can decide what level of university you can get into. Because a good GMAT/GRE score equals a good university. For the language test, it is mandatory and not at all flexible.

Foreign colleges do accept the grades of state boards, make no mistake. You just focus on your profile and don’t worry about this matter.
