Not all one-year MBAs deliver equal returns. For ROI in 2025, the better choice depends on experience and target roles.

IIM Bangalore’s EPGP is giving better short-term returns for experienced professionals (10+ years), especially in tech and operations. Roles post-MBA often include product head, strategy lead, or transformation manager, with salaries reaching ₹30–33 LPA. Recruiters like Amazon, Tata Digital, and PwC offer higher positions with clearer jumps in pay.

ISB’s PGP works well for those in the 5–9 year range. It opens doors to consulting and product roles, but salary jumps are usually moderate. The average CTC in 2024 was ₹28–30 LPA, but many roles are mid-level.

In pure ROI terms, IIMB’s EPGP tends to deliver more for seasoned professionals making leadership moves. ISB is better for broader role changes but may take longer to see major financial gains.

If ROI is the priority in 2025, IIM Bangalore EPGP offers better value for professionals with 8–15 years of experience in tech, operations, or core sectors. The median post-MBA salary is around ₹31–32 LPA, with top recruiters like Microsoft, Deloitte, EY, and Infosys Consulting offering senior roles in strategy and digital transformation.

The program’s location in Bangalore and smaller class size mean closer recruiter access and faster transitions into leadership positions, especially in the tech ecosystem. For professionals in engineering, digital, or supply chain roles aiming to step up, EPGP gives focused outcomes.

ISB PGP, while offering broader sector exposure, reports an average salary of ₹28–30 LPA in 2024. It works better for 5–10 years of experience, especially in consulting, product management, or marketing.

Both programs are strong, but for those with more experience looking for faster salary jumps and senior titles, EPGP edges out ISB on pure ROI.
