MS eligibility requirements in the USA
It would be best if you met certain qualifications and eligibility conditions to study MS in the US. Look at these, shall we:
Undergraduate Degree
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is the initial criterion for eligibility to study for a master's degree in the USA. Most colleges require a minimum score of 60% for a bachelor's degree, while the requirements vary according to the course and the university.'
Language Requirement
The English proficiency test is a must for Indian students applying to the MS programme in the USA. The tests' minimum results are:
IELTS – 6.5 - 7.5
TOEFL – 88 - 100
GMAT/GRE
A GMAT or GRE score is required for MS programmes in the USA in fields like finance and management, among others. While having a strong GMAT score is required for some courses, it is not for all of them. For master's programmes in the USA, the ideal GMAT ranges from 600 to 740, while the GRE goes from 318 to 329.
Work Experience
For an MS to be completed in the USA, two to three years of work experience are needed. Some courses, however, may not require work experience as a prerequisite.
Passport and Visa
For Indian students to pursue an MS in the USA, they must have a valid passport and student visa. Don't forget to apply for your visa at least three months before the planned departure date.
