One of the schools that i wanted to apply is LSE, for Masters in Finance. I will be giving GMAT in December, preferably December ending, would it affect my application if i submit it in January?

Lots of applicants assume January is still early ,  but for LSE Finance, even a two-week delay can matter more than people think.
&bull; LSE starts reviewing applications as soon as they&rsquo;re submitted. Programs like MSc Finance are among the fastest to fill. &bull; If the GMAT is in late December, the official score usually takes 5&ndash;7 calendar days. So if your test is on Dec 28, you may only be able to submit around Jan 4&ndash;5. &bull; That timeline still works, but by then, many strong applications are already under review. &bull; One workaround: submit the application in late December with the unofficial score (you get it right after the test), and email the official one when it&rsquo;s ready. &bull; Scholarship chances drop sharply after mid-January, so if funding is important, aim to apply sooner if possible.
Better to prep everything else now and submit the moment your GMAT score is live ,  no waiting after that.

This depends upon the intake you are targeting and the college application deadline for that particular course and intake. The application deadline for MFin at LSE is January 5, 2023. It is better if you submit your application a little earlier, December is way too late. If you have any further questions just ask me.

Submitting your LSE MSc Finance application in January with a GMAT scheduled for late December is still possible, but timing is crucial.
LSE doesn&rsquo;t follow fixed rounds like US schools, they use rolling admissions. That means seats fill up as applications come in. While January isn&rsquo;t considered &ldquo;late,&rdquo; applying earlier definitely increases your chances, especially for competitive programs like Finance. If your GMAT is scheduled for the end of December, make sure the scores will be available and sent to LSE before you submit.
Also, if you wait to submit until your score is available in early January, ensure the rest of your application, SOP, references, transcripts,  is 100% ready to go. Any delay beyond mid-January can start to impact your odds, especially for scholarships, which tend to run out fast.
