Restricting yourself to the only province of Alberta would only limit your university options. You would only find 2-3 universities max in the area of Alberts. Therefore, looking for all the opportunities in agriculture would be preferable. I'll mention all the options that would help you look into a broader view.

The world's agricultural industries have a greater influence on people and the environment than agriculture. You are directly involved in the globe's efforts to feed, clothe, and fuel the world when you work in this field.
Courses after BSc Agriculture you can consider:

Compared to other industries, careers in the agricultural sectors pay competitive incomes, allowing you to live a nice life and make a fantastic income.

There are many professions available in agriculture if you prefer a desk job, but if working outside with equipment and animals sounds like a lifestyle you could get used to, look no further. Your work-life balance won't improve despite summer activities like fruit picking and water skiing and winter ones like snowmobiling.
