My investment platform says account not found after I tried to withdraw—has this happened before?

I’m trying to figure out if this is a system issue or if I just got completely scammed.

For almost 4 months I had an account on one of these online investment platforms that supposedly specialized in crypto and forex trading. At first everything looked normal. I could log in every day, see my balance growing, chat with support, even watch “live trades” happening on the dashboard.

The weird part is I never actually tried withdrawing until this week.

My account balance was showing a little over $41k after several deposits over time. I finally submitted a withdrawal request on Monday because I wanted to test whether the profits were actually real.

A few hours later I got logged out.

When I tried signing back in, it suddenly said “account not found.”

At first I assumed maybe the site was having technical problems, but then I noticed support stopped replying too. The Telegram contact that originally helped me open the account now only reads messages without answering. Their phone line goes straight to voicemail.

What’s making me sick is that the platform itself is still online. The homepage works. New users can probably still register. But my login credentials suddenly don’t exist anymore right after I requested a withdrawal.

I started searching Google for things like “investment platform deleted my account after withdrawal request” and “crypto trading site account not found scam” and found way too many similar stories. Apparently some of these fake brokers keep users active as long as deposits are coming in, then either freeze or erase accounts the moment someone tries cashing out.

Looking back, there were warning signs I ignored. They always pushed me to add more funds but never encouraged withdrawals. Also every “profit” was only visible inside their own dashboard, not in an actual exchange account I controlled.

I’ve already taken screenshots of the balance history, transaction receipts, wallet transfers, emails, and chat logs because I don’t want evidence disappearing if the site vanishes next. Someone mentioned Jim Recovery Team in another withdrawal fraud thread involving a fake forex broker, so I’ve been reading through recovery discussions trying to understand what’s legitimate and what’s just another trap targeting victims.

But yeah… if your investment account suddenly becomes “not found” immediately after requesting a withdrawal, I’d take that as a very bad sign.
