I got overall 6 band in IELTS and two modules 5.5 band, so I am eligible for masters in the USA?

A 6 overall in IELTS is a decent score, while the 5.5 in two modules might be a bit challenging for some U.S. universities, especially for master's programs. However, don't lose heart! There are universities that accept this score, but they might ask for supplementary English courses or provide conditional admission. My advice to you is that, look for universities that align with your score and also consider your overall profile which includes:

Work experience
Undergraduation grades
Extracurricular activities,
SOP’s and LOR’s

Best of luck! and Congratulations on your IELTS score.

Hi! When you look at your English proficiency, your overall IELTS score of 6 is a good start, but the 5.5 in two modules might limit your options. When I was applying, I noticed some universities required a minimum of 6 in each module for master's programs. But here's the good news for you- not all schools have the same requirements. Some might be flexible, considering your entire application, including your academic background and other achievements.

So, keep exploring, and don't be afraid to reach out to admission offices for clarification. Moreover, you need to strengthen the other parts of the application. That could be an add-on and increase your consideration. You've got this!
