Candidates must have completed their graduation degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate to be eligible for admission into a PG diploma course offered by Canadian universities. Some diploma courses, particularly those in Project Management or Business Administration, may also require two years of work experience. I understand that it can be a bit overwhelming to figure out the correct study material, reference videos and preparation strategy for a competitive exam like IELTS. But there’s nothing to worry about. You are at the right place. To get a FREE online class for IELTS you can just check out the IELTS Test Prep Section here. It consists of section-wise resources curated by Study Abroad Experts and Top School Alumni so that you can ace your IELTS. Let me know if you need any other information from my end.

The 60% CGPA is like a basic guideline for Canadian Universities. It's good to aim a bit higher, but if you're around there, you're on the right track. The important part is to show that the other things in your application are strong. This means your work experience, your personal story, and your goals.

It's also good to check out some hands on work programs they might be more open to a 60% CGPA. Some popular and friendly Canadian colleges for PG diplomas are Humber College, Seneca College, and George Brown College.

In Canada, I was really into my CGPA. Most Canadian universities and colleges look for at least a 60% or a 6.0/10 CGPA. But I figured out it's not just about grades. Canadian schools also care about what you do outside of class, your work experiences, and how passionate you are, as shown in your personal essays. My CGPA was a bit over 60%, but I made sure to talk about my other skills and work history. So, while having a 60% is a good start, don't forget to show off the other things that make you stand out!

The minimum CGPA required for admission into a Postgraduate Diploma in Canada can vary widely based on the specific program and school. Generally, most colleges require a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. This translates to a 'C+' average, though many competitive programs will require at least a 3.0 ('B') or higher.

To improve your chances of admission, it's crucial to enhance your overall profile beyond just your academic grades. This includes gaining relevant work experience, participating in related extracurricular activities, and obtaining strong letters of recommendation. Additionally, crafting a compelling statement of purpose can make a significant difference, as it gives you the opportunity to explain any academic shortcomings and highlight your strengths and motivations for pursuing the program.

Always check the specific requirements of each institution by visiting their official websites or contacting their admissions offices directly. This way, you can ensure that you meet or exceed the necessary criteria and tailor your application accordingly.
